tweet | the word for breath in hebrew means spirit

The term "spirit" translates the Hebrew word ruah, which, in its primary sense, means breath, air, wind.

one of those things that i have known for a long time in my brain, but never really thought about.  pretty important in understanding God breathing into Adam, the Holy Spirit as wind, Jesus as word (which is formed through breath), etc.  if anyone has any good insight, pop me a comment!
